Soul Transfer is a late-game critical strike item: each crit on a champion summons a clone that attacks for you while you keep playing your spacing.
This is an end-of-build item. It fixes nothing in your profile: it multiplies what you already do well, provided you are landing crits and staying in the fight.
It excels in long games where the crit carry reaches a full build, in front-to-back fights or around an objective contested several times.
