A Darius who reaches his target wins the fight; a kited Darius loses the game. The active slows everything around you and the speed passive glues you to the target — every stat serves the same goal: staying in contact.

The anti-kite buy for slow bruisers; if your kit already has gap closers, another item in the family pays more.
