Mechanical Tips

  • Decisive Strike (Q): resets auto-attacks + silence for 1.5s. Use immediately after an AA for an almost instantaneous double hit. The silence prevents the enemy from using their abilities.
  • Judgment (E): continuous spin; 6 hits = 25% armour shred. Stay in contact with the target for all 6 hits. Each E hit can trigger a critical strike if Garen has critical strike items.
  • Perseverance (passive): massive HP regeneration if out of combat for 8s. Return to the bush between trades to recover quickly.
  • Demacian Justice (R): must be used when the target is below 50% HP — no damage dealt above that threshold. Calculate before casting.
  • Courage (W): damage reduction + tenacity. Activate before taking heavy damage, not after.

  • Using R on a target with more than 50% HP — no damage dealt.
  • Not using Q to reset auto-attacks — losing an entire hit in the combo.
  • Continuing to spin (E) when the enemy has retreated — wasting the spin.
