1 AA
2 W W
3 AA
4 Q Q
5 AA

Combine Ricochet for cleave damage with Boomerang for long-range poke

Teamfight combo
1 R R
2 W W
3 Q Q
4 AA
5 AA

Use your ultimate to boost the team’s speed at the start of the engage, then use Ricochet + Boomerang for maximum AoE damage during the fight

Mechanical Tips

  • Boomerang (1) ward: throw the Boomerang towards a bush to check if anyone is inside — Sivir’s passive (Fleet of Foot) triggers if the Boomerang hits a champion, revealing their presence
  • Spell Shield (3) timing: Spell Shield must be activated BEFORE the enemy projectile — time your lane pokes (Ezreal’s Q, Blitzcrank’s hook, Jinx’s trap) to counter it; if it fails, 50% of the cooldown is refunded
  • Ricochet (2) on kills: Ricochet bounces between all nearby targets — in a crowded teamfight, activate ability 2 so that each auto-attack hits all adjacent targets at the same time
  • On The Hunt (Ult) as an engage: the ultimate speeds up the whole team — use it to initiate a teamfight so that allies can catch up with enemies, not at the end when the fight has already started

Common Mistakes

  • Misaligned Boomerang: the Boomerang deals damage on the way out AND on the way back — position it so that the return journey also passes through enemy champions (pass close to the enemy to hit them twice)
  • Spell Shield wasted on poke: using Ability 3 to block a minor poke whilst heavy CC is approaching — save Ability 3 for critical engages (hooks, knock-ups)
  • Ultimate used whilst retreating: On The Hunt is more powerful for engaging than for escaping — if used to escape, the speed boost helps the team but the damage is wasted

Notable Interactions

  • Boomerang Blade’s damage scales with critical strike chance (0.5% damage per 1% critical strike chance) — with Navori’s and IE, the Boomerang can one-shot squishies
  • Spell Shield blocks global ultimates (Ashe, Shen, Twisted Fate) — very effective against team compositions with targeted ultimates
  • Sivir is one of the best champions for breaking tower sieges thanks to Ricochet, which bounces off the tower

FAQ

How should I play Sivir in Wild Rift?

Sivir is generally played as ADC. The first objective is to priority to waveclear, not duels. defensive heal and warding of lateral bushes. Its biggest edge comes from waveclear and monstrous team dps with w + r.

When is Sivir strongest?

Sivir takes over in mid game: two items = window of strength: play dragon/herald as a team.

How do I punish Sivir?

Sivir can be punished when short range for an adc, punishable for poor positioning. A practical answer listed here is: Don't get zoned out by waves: clear at a distance with Q/W then back off.
