Jinx Wild Rift Expert Guide

Positioning is the top priority for Jinx. Use her attack range to maintain pressure while staying safe. In teamfights, wait for enemy lines to commit before dealing sustained damage from the backline.

4 AA

Root trap, Zap! slow, switch weapons depending on the situation, spam AAs.

Burst combo
1 W W
2 E E
3 AA
4 switch Fishb
5 AA

Start with Zap! for the slow, set the trap, then rapid AAs with the Minigun to stack damage, switch to Rockets for AoE.

Long-range poke
1 Q Q
2 W W

Land long-range poke with Fishbones, use W for the slow.

Mechanical Tips

  • Switcheroo (Q): alternates between Pow-Pow (Minigun, short range, +attack speed) and Fishbones (Rockets, long range, AoE, costs mana). Use Fishbones for poking and teamfights, Pow-Pow for 1v1s.
  • Pow-Pow stacks: up to 3 attack speed stacks from auto-attacks. Do not switch out of Pow-Pow whilst you have 3 active stacks — you’ll lose all your stacks.
  • Fishbones AoE: rockets hit all targets within a small area — excellent in teamfights or for farming.
  • Chompers (E): place the traps behind the enemy’s intended escape route, not directly beneath them. 1.5s root if stepped on.
  • Super Mega Death Rocket (R): Travels across the entire map; damage increases with distance. Use early in the journey for maximum damage. Also triggers on enemy targets along the way.

Common Mistakes

  • Wasting mana by spamming Fishbones when not in combat — Fishbones cost a lot of mana.
  • Switching from Pow-Pow whilst you’re in the middle of building up stacks — you’ll lose the 3 attack speed stacks.
  • Not positioning the Chompers in front of your retreat — enemies can easily avoid them in a straight line.

Notable Interactions

  • ‘Get Excited’ (passive) also triggers on tower kills — use Fishbones to focus on a tower during a teamfight and trigger the passive.
  • Fishbones’ rockets hit all targets in the area — Braum may not block all the hits.
  • R can be used with vision across the map for long-range executes.

FAQ

How should I play Jinx in Wild Rift?

Jinx is generally played as ADC. The first objective is to wave management defensive vs strong lanes (draven/lucian). short trades rocket + autos, recall on bf. Its biggest edge comes from monstrous scaling and cleanup of teamfights via resets.

When is Jinx strongest?

Jinx takes over in mid game: take t1 bot, rotate mid for siege. guard quicksilver/stasis enchant according to enemy compo.

How do I punish Jinx?

Jinx can be punished when no native mobility and highly sensitive to hard-cc. A practical answer listed here is: Cut its vision and capitalize on its low mobility without Flash/Ghost.
