Mechanical Tips

  • Biggest Snowball Ever! in the river: rolling the snowball in the river gives you more space and avoids accidental collisions with the terrain — Scuttle Crab also adds a speed boost
  • Directional Snowball Barrage: watch the arrow during the 3-second cast — aim towards a cluster of enemies to maximise roots and damage
  • Absolute Zero in the centre: position yourself in the middle of the enemy team BEFORE activating the ultimate — enemies cannot easily escape the radius and damage is maximised
  • AS-sharing passive: position yourself near the allied ADC — the passive shares half of the AS bonus granted by Nunu

Common Mistakes

  • Use Consume too late: don’t wait until you’re nearly dead to use Consume — at 40–50% HP, use it on a camp or mob to stay in good shape
  • Passive re-proc on the same target: the passive has an 8-second cooldown per target — don’t waste empowered auto-attacks on a target that has already triggered the passive recently
  • Ultimate from the periphery: using the ultimate whilst on the outer edge of a teamfight means enemies can easily escape — always aim for the centre before activating it

Notable Interactions

  • ‘Biggest Snowball Ever!’ can pick up other Nunu/Willump along the way [to be confirmed in WR] — behaves like a proper snowball
  • Absolute Zero can be interrupted — use the ultimate from behind a wall or whilst surrounded by allies to minimise interruptions
  • Smite + Consume on the objective (Baron, Dragon): combine the two to steal objectives

How do I punish Nunu & Willump?

Nunu & Willump can be punished when dependent on teammates to convert a catch into a kill. A practical answer listed here is: Don't take the 1v1 against Olaf/Lee: play counter-ganks and objectives.
