Piercing Darkness (1) alignment: the ability is cast TOWARDS a targeted ally or enemy and travels in a straight line — position Senna so that the line passes through the enemy AND an ally simultaneously to trigger the damage + heal combo
Absolution (passive) scaling: farm the Mist from slain champions and monsters — every 20 stacks grants +25 AD and +25 critical strike chance — do not ignore souls that drop near an enemy (risky but useful)
Curse of the Black Mist (3) ally stealth: allies who enter the cloud become wraiths (invisible but visible if close by) — use for group approaches or flanks
Last Embrace (2) delay: the 2 explodes after a delay OR immediately if the enemy hit dies — in teamfights, cast on a target with low HP for a quicker root

Misaligned Piercing Darkness: using it when there are no allies in the path causes you to lose the heal component — always check that an ally is in the line of fire before casting
Dawning Shadow cast too early: the global ultimate is more powerful for saving allies from a distance — do not use it in a fight that’s already won locally; save it for critical teamfights
Ignoring Mist souls: Senna scales poorly without souls — maximise soul collection even as a support by clearing souls after trades
