Portal Jump Combo
1 R R
2 E E
3 Q Q
4 retour auto-

Ultimate to create an unexpected angle, cast the bubble by surprise, Star for burst damage, automatic safe return

Mechanical Tips

  • Paddle Star (1) trajectory mechanic: the 1 can be redirected after being thrown — throw it FAR from the target first, then recast to redirect it — the further the star travels, the higher the damage; never throw it directly at the target if it is too close
  • Sleepy Trouble Bubble (3) area extension: the bubble bounces off walls and extends its range if it hits the ground — aim for side walls to hit targets that are out of direct range
  • More Sparkles! (passive): after each ability is cast, Zoe’s next auto-attack is empowered (bonus damage) — always finish a combo with an auto-attack to trigger the passive, especially on a sleeping target (double damage)
  • Spell Thief (passive) collection: spell items dropped by slain enemies or minions can be collected — an enemy’s dropped Flash = temporary Flash available to Zoe; Ignite, Exhaust and other spells can be chained

Common Mistakes

  • Paddle Star too close: the 1 deals less damage at close range — a Star fired directly at point-blank range = minimal damage; always create some distance for redirection
  • Sleepless Bubble confirmed: the bubble first causes drowsiness (flashing), then puts the target to sleep only if hit again — let the target fall asleep BEFORE firing the star to deal double damage
  • Portal Jump in open combat: the ultimate teleports Zoe to a point then brings her back after 0.75s — do not use it to escape in direct combat (too short), use it for surprise poke angles

Notable Interactions

  • Enemies put to sleep by the bubble take double damage from the next hit — Paddle Star + sleep = massive burst damage (more AP = an even higher multiplier)
  • Spell Thief can steal the enemy’s Flash — a Zoe with Flash + Flash steal can perform two consecutive repositioning manoeuvres
  • With Luden’s Echo + Rabadon, the Star ability on a sleeping target can one-shot most mages and ADCs

FAQ

How should I play Zoe in Wild Rift?

Zoe is generally played as Mid. The first objective is to conditional wave priority: don't overpush without vision. look for e on the river side. Its biggest edge comes from extremely long-range poke/one-shot and zone control via sleep.

When is Zoe strongest?

Zoe takes over in mid game: play the vision and force a pick before dragon/herald.

How do I punish Zoe?

Zoe can be punished when very fragile, sensitive to fast-moving gears and assassins. A practical answer listed here is: Don't launch R without a return plan: Watch the flanks.
