Controlled engage and target lockdown
Jarvan IV, Nautilus, and Leona give Zoe what she wants most: an enemy forced to move in a readable way. When allied engage forces a dash, Flash, or defensive grouping, Zoe can land E on a target that no longer has full freedom. This synergy also works the other way: a landed bubble gives these champions a clear target to lock down, preventing vague or overly deep engages.
How to play it. The team should prepare vision before the objective, let Zoe threaten the entrance with E, then engage as soon as a target is asleep or steps too far from their frontline.
Poke and long-range pressure
With an ally like Jayce, Zoe does not carry the entire responsibility of wearing enemies down before an objective. Both champions force the enemy to enter river already missing health or summoners. This combined pressure makes every bubble more dangerous, because a target hit by E does not need a full combo to lose the sequence. The composition wins most when it takes vision first and forces enemies to walk into its poke.
How to play it. Avoid starting the fight too early. The plan is to poke, force a retreat, retake a corridor, then turn the first slept target into a secured objective.
Protection and backline tempo
Lulu does not only give defensive comfort: she lets Zoe use R with slightly more margin when enemies try to punish her return. This protection is valuable in games where Zoe must step forward to find the right Paddle Star or E trajectory. She also helps slow assassins and preserve the backline while Zoe looks for a pick, instead of forcing a messy fight.
How to play it. Zoe should play near the protected area, not isolated on an overly deep flank. Lulu gains value if she covers the R return point and stops the enemy all-in.
