ADC build for counter-entry and line control: Xayah wins when the enemy steps exactly where her feathers make the terrain wrong. The build must therefore protect sustained DPS, reversal windows, and the quality of her defensive punishment.
Three builds, one right answer per draft. The advisor reads the five enemies (and your allies) and names who triggers what — the same rule as the Draft MVP sheet and Ask Nexus.

Stacked attack speed drops feathers faster — more autos, more blades down, more E roots.
Strengthens trades early before his feathers are deployed in nombre suffisant.
Your feather recall sweeps the full-HP frontline — the healthy-target bonus inflates every E.
Attack speed to embed more feathers W quickly and maximize the E.

Level 5 completely changes how Xayah can contest lane and early objectives. Before this timing, she must respect direct engages; after it, she can absorb a burst attempt, reposition with her ultimate, and leave feathers behind to turn the fight.
This spike gives Xayah enough crit threat for her feathers to become more than a control tool. If enemies walk in line, the pullback can both root and remove a massive amount of health, especially around a prepared objective.
With two to three items, Xayah becomes much harder to ignore in long fights. Her W DPS, combined with lifesteal or item safety, lets her stay in combat long enough to create multiple feather lines.
