Knight's Vow
Knight's Vow is a single-target protection item for tank supports and frontliners that literally play around keeping one carry alive.
The item gains value when your team clearly relies on a single damage source or when one priority ally absolutely must survive the enemy's first cycle. It does not simply make you tankier: it redirects the whole purpose of the fight toward actively protecting one ally.
It is a very clean buy when your support or frontliner stays glued to the main ADC or mage. It is much worse in spread drafts, dive comps without a real carry to protect, or games where you cannot stay near the ally you want to cover.
