How do we calculate this tier list?

A calculation, not an opinion. Every champion gets a composite score recalculated on each patch update, built from three weighted signals:

• Large-scale real winrate — win rate by role across a high volume of ranked games, weighted by sample size so a small number of games can't skew the ranking.
• Pickrate — a champion's popularity within their role, a complementary signal of perceived viability among players.
• Community consensus — an average of several independent rankings maintained by the Wild Rift community, correcting blind spots a purely statistical read can miss.

The final score places each champion into a tier by percentile within their role. The text next to each champion stays editorial: it explains the reasoning behind the tier, but never decides the placement on its own.

Which Champions Should You Pick For Your Goal?

To climb solo queue faster

Prioritize picks that can force tempo without depending on a perfect draft.

Lee Sin Excellent at accelerating the game early and converting tempo into fast leads. Xayah A strong solo queue carry when you want high DPS with real self-peel. Nami Adds lane pressure and makes almost any ADC easier to convert into a win.

To play safe in ranked

Choose stable champions that stay useful without an early lead and are hard to punish.

Ornn Very reliable when you want a stable draft even if lane stays neutral. Ezreal Safe lane, mobility, and steady damage without taking the same risks as other ADCs. Braum Great if you want to absorb enemy tempo and protect your carry cleanly.

To carry teamfights

These picks keep high value when games revolve around objectives and reliable engage.
