逆に、profiles unable to exploit their weaknesses に対しては優位に立つ。
Draven is a hard counter to Ezreal because he can make lane unplayable without strong support answers. Ezreal wants to play range and scale through poke; Draven turns small mistakes (stepping up for CS, using E offensively) into winning all-ins and snowball.
He denies wave control and disrupts clean recall timings. Even if you farm decently, one kill can be enough for early turret and map break. In 2v2, his pressure often forces your support into defense, cutting your poke windows.
Switch to survival mode: keep wave near tower, give up a few CS rather than losing summoners. Hold E strictly to break all-ins (not for poke). Aim to exit lane without a cashout, then play midgame poke around objectives.
Caitlyn is hard for Ezreal because she plays pure range + lane control: you want Q trades, she answers with constant push + auto harass, and traps punish predictable paths.
You can get stuck under tower last-hitting with few poke chances. If you lose too much HP, you’re forced into bad recalls and lose plates. She also sets trap zones around turret to enable dives/sieges.
Play wave tempo: don’t try to win every trade—try to stabilize. Use Q for farming and only chip when their support has no angle. Avoid linear movement (traps), and keep E to reposition out of siege zones.
Samira is hard because she breaks your ranged poke plan: she wants short explosive 2v2 fights and has tools to enter, reset, and partially negate projectiles. If she hits the right timing, your E becomes a delay, not a real escape.
The moment you step into her engage range (or her support’s), you risk an all-in. Even if you hit her first, she can sustain/convert once fights turn melee. In teamfights, if she reaches you with style stacked, she forces you off DPS space.
Respect the threat threshold: keep wider spacing than usual and don’t get hooked by support CC. Your job is to break her entry—poke pre-engage, then kite and reset. If your support can’t peel, prioritize wave control and clean recalls.
Nilah is hard because she forces a close-range 2v2 where Ezreal loses value. You want to kite and chip; she wants to stick and win via sustain + AoE brawl. Once she’s on you, you can’t calmly Q poke anymore.
She can absorb poke and look for well-timed engages (often with engage support). If she gains prio, you lose wave poke timings and get pinned under tower. In teamfights, her entries can cut your space.
Be pre-emptive: poke before she reaches range, and keep E to break her engage (not for DPS). If she commits, kite diagonally (not straight), let your team control her. Your goal is long-range fighting, not brawling back.
Lucian is hard because he often wins short trades: dash in, burst, dash out, repeat. Ezreal has sustained poke, but eating a full Lucian rotation loses the trade before your DPS ramps.
In lane, he can force you back and deny last-hits, especially with a pressure support. His trading tempo disrupts the calm poke rhythm you want.
Golden rule: don’t give free dash value. When Lucian dashes offensively, that’s your punish window (Q/W) if you’re safe from support angle. Hold E to break the second timing (follow-up), not to answer the first poke.
Xayah is unfavorable because she has exactly what makes Ezreal less threatening: self-peel. Your poke exists, but when you try to convert (all-in/pick), feathers punish dives and she can survive burst.
She can play lane safely, and if you E too aggressively you risk root + losing trade. In teamfights, she makes clean kills harder by stalling your spikes.
Don’t force aggression: chip and wait for defensive tools to be used. Avoid offensive E inside feather threat. In fights, use side angles—force her to back up rather than trapping you in a corridor.
Varus is unfavorable because he can play at longer effective range and has direct pick threat via ult. Ezreal loves using E to create angles; Varus punishes that habit: ult → chain CC → burst.
He can wear you down at range and force early potion usage. Midgame, he makes objective fights dangerous because a constant pick zone exists.
Play conservative E: keep it to dodge or exit after ult, not to engage. Stay behind minions and vary movement to reduce free charged arrows. When you hit him, don’t chase in a straight line—that’s where he traps you.
Kai’Sa is a skill matchup: you can zone and poke her, but if you give a window she can follow with ult and turn trades into kills. The matchup is HP management and engage timing.
With good wave and distance, you can slow her down. But getting caught by support CC or using E too early lets her commit and force summoners.
Play attrition: steady chip then reset. Hold E to break her ult timing (exit range or dodge follow-up). Ping windows when she’s low—often convert into objectives rather than risky all-ins.
Vayne is skill: at range, you can poke and control space. But if she finds a Condemn angle or sticks to you during ult, she can flip fights fast—especially if you already used E.
Lane can be stable, but trades punish pathing mistakes (wall stun). Mid/late, if you play too close, she can run you down and force kiting over DPS.
Don’t give her a wall: position so Condemn isn’t a free stun. Keep E as an exit, not an entry. When she ults, back off and poke frontline until her invis/tempo window ends.
Jhin is skill because he punishes patterns: predictable E forward gets rooted and bursted. But you also have leverage—you can chip with Q and avoid his setups by playing angles.
Traps make zones dangerous and can force defensive E. In teamfights, his ult can push you off poke positions without cover.
Read traps: don’t cross corridors without checking. When root is available, play behind minions and avoid linear entries. Keep poke constant but safe—not a forward sprint.
Ashe is often favorable because she lacks mobility: she can slow you, but struggles to convert if you manage E properly. You can poke her without exposing as much as she does.
You can chip her on wave and force her back. If she ults, E often lets you avoid the follow-up if your spacing is correct.
Respect her ult: keep a path that allows instant shift if needed. Once key cooldowns are down, retake lane and force recalls through poke.
Sivir is often favorable because she wants to play wave and scale, but struggles to threaten you directly without help. Spellshield is annoying, but it’s taxable: force it, then your poke becomes very effective again.
Lane is a resource game: she clears, you chip. If you proc shield with a low-value spell, you can pressure during the real window.
Force shield intelligently (Q, light W), then hold your real damage rotation for after. Don’t step into support all-in range while testing shield.
Jinx can be favorable in lane if you play clean: she’s slow and relies on range/support to punish you. Ezreal can chip her consistently and deny free scaling if wave control is solid.
You can force potions, bad recalls, and reduce her plate access. The danger is engage support + reset: if you give a kill, she can take over.
Constant chip then reset: don’t chase low Jinx without jungle vision. Hold E to break surprise engages. Goal is keeping her pressured and reaching midgame with prio and tempo.

How the champion adapts.
How the champion adapts.
How the champion adapts.
