§ 02 — Strengths & weaknesses Annie Burst mage mid Wild Rift strengths and weaknesses

↑ Strengths

Very reliable targeted burst once Pyromania is stacked, especially with Flash + Tibbers onto a target without cleanse tools or Stasis.
Excellent fog-of-war threat: an Annie out of vision with stun ready forces carries to back away before dragon, herald, or mid sieges.
Molten Shield gives enough movement speed to start a rotation, absorb the first poke, and reposition Tibbers during the fight.

↓ Weaknesses

Limited lane range: against long-range poke, Annie can lose priority if she spends her stun to last-hit at the wrong timing.
Heavily depends on Flash, Protobelt, or fog angles; without access tools, opponents can simply step out of Tibbers range.
Crowd-control shields, Stasis, and very thick frontlines break her plan if she lacks Void Staff or a backline angle.

Consejos mecánicos

Annie support sigue siendo una elección poco convencional pero de gran impacto en el parche actual, especialmente en peleas por objetivos. Su valor no proviene del control constante como los soportes tradicionales, sino de la amenaza explosiva: un único Flash-R bien colocado puede decidir una pelea entera. En un meta donde los jugadores a menudo se posicionan mal alrededor de dragones y heraldos, castiga los errores brutalmente. Sin embargo, carece de peel constante y de iniciación confiable fuera de los enfriamientos, lo que la hace muy dependiente del tempo. No es una elección estable, sino de alto impacto cuando se usa correctamente.

§ 06 — The matchup wallAnnie Wild Rift counters and synergies

Amumu and Annie form an extremely reliable teamfight combination because each one makes the other’s AoE spell easier to land. Once Amumu catches multiple targets, Annie can drop Tibbers into a space where the enemy no longer has a clean exit, then unload full burst without having to guess movement. The duo is particularly strong against short-range drafts that must step in together around objectives.

Ideal

Jarvan IV

Jarvan IV gives Annie the fixed space she loves to guarantee either her initiation or her follow-up. Cataclysm drastically reduces the target carry’s repositioning room, which greatly simplifies Tibbers entry and makes Annie’s AoE damage much harder to avoid. The combination is deadly in picks and full 5v5s, especially against low-mobility comps or teams without reliable cleanse.

Strong

Leona

Leona and Annie can erase a target very quickly thanks to a chain of control that is easy to execute and does not rely much on long skillshots. Leona opens the window, Annie enters with charged stun, and the burst follows immediately before the enemy can realistically be saved. This duo is very strong for repeated catches on rotations and around jungle entrances.

Ashe

Ashe gives Annie a very long-range trigger, letting her play even without a perfect flank angle. A well-placed Enchanted Crystal Arrow is enough to freeze the target long enough for Annie to come into range and turn the catch into a clean kill. The synergy is very useful when your team wants to play pick and tempo rather than constant front-to-back engage.
