§ 01 — Editorial brief

Miss Fortune remains a highly impactful ADC in the current patch, not because of her raw dueling power, but due to her ability to dominate structured fights and objective setups.

By WRC Studio ~ 2 min read Patch 7.2a

Miss Fortune is a Dragon Lane marksman in Wild Rift, a bounty hunter specializing in teamfight zone damage through her bullet rain ultimate. Her kit combines bouncing shots, an AoE slow, and a Bullet Time channeling thousands of spread bullets dealing massive damage. She excels in mass engage compositions seeking to use ally CC to release her ultimate without interruption. In Wild Rift, her AoE damage ultimate is among the most powerful in the game when enemies are grouped, rewarding compositions capable of keeping opponents in place.

Miss Fortune excels in compositions that can cluster enemies to maximize her zone damage. She benefits from mass CC allies that allow her Bullet Time to hit the entire enemy team without interruption. Dense teamfight and multi-engage compositions are her ideal terrain.

Miss Fortune struggles against mobile champions who can interrupt her Bullet Time and close the gap quickly. Her lack of a dash makes her vulnerable to sudden engage and instant CC. Disengage or superior poke compositions limit her lane phase impact.

With Miss Fortune, position your Bullet Time from an angle where enemies can't easily dodge it. Wait for allies to land their CC before triggering your ultimate to ensure it won't be interrupted. In lane, exploit your Q range to harass safely.

Expert note

Expert take

Miss Fortune is a deceptive champion: easy to understand, but hard to optimize. She rewards players who can read fights before they happen. If you know how to wait and play around your team, she becomes a massive control weapon. But if you play reactively or without a plan, she quickly loses value.

Weak point

Hidden weakness

Miss Fortune’s real weakness isn’t just her lack of mobility, but her reliance on structured fights. As soon as a fight becomes chaotic or spread out, she loses significant value because her kit depends on grouped and controlled targets.

§ 02 — Strengths & weaknesses Miss Fortune Wild Rift strengths and weaknesses

↑ Strengths
  • Objective fights favor her ultimate impact.
  • Engage supports provide natural setups for her R.
  • Her Q poke remains oppressive in lane.
  • She heavily punishes positioning mistakes in solo queue.
↓ Weaknesses
  • Against multiple assassins who can interrupt her ultimate.
  • Without frontline or engage to create opportunities.
  • Against highly mobile or spread-out compositions.
  • If your team doesn’t play around objectives.

W for movement speed, auto-attack (passive first-hit bonus), Q bounce, E slow, R.

2 Flash Flash
3 R R

E for the slow, Flash to create distance and find the right angle, R from a distance.

3 AA

Q bounces off the first target to the enemy behind — use minions as a relay.

Mechanical Tips

  • Love Tap (passive): The first hit on a new target deals bonus damage. Switch targets to trigger the passive regularly — don’t always focus on the same one.
  • Strut (W): Passive movement speed boost if not recently hit; active grants a temporary sprint. Activate before engaging to get the speed boost.
  • Double Up (Q): Bounces to a second target behind the first. Use on minions lined up with the enemy champion for a double hit. Can crit.
  • Make It Rain (E): Extended slow area. Use before R so that enemies are slowed during Bullet Time.
  • Bullet Time (R): stationary channel. Find an angle where the cone covers the maximum number of enemies — choke points, compact groups. Activate when allies have CC on the enemies.

Common Mistakes

  • Use R without first applying slow or CC — enemies can easily escape the cone.
  • Do not use Q on minions as a bounce to the champion — using Q directly on the champion is less effective.
  • Move whilst using R — R is a stationary channel.

Notable Interactions

  • E + R = slow whilst on the channel = much harder to break free from.
  • Q can crit — synergises with crit items.
  • Love Tap procs on structures (towers) — alternate hits between champions and towers to trigger the passive.

Tip · 01

Ult from the fog or behind your frontline; announce your angle to synchronize allied controls.

Tip · 02

Strut is as much for engaging as for resetting your position after R: save it for key windows.

§ 08 — DialoguesMiss Fortune Wild Rift FAQ

Q.01 When should you use your ultimate? +

Always wait for allied crowd control or enemy positioning mistakes. Your ultimate is much more effective when targets are already engaged or immobilized. Using it first makes you vulnerable and reduces your impact.

Q.02 Is she a good blind pick? +

She can be viable as a blind pick, but is risky against assassins or mobile compositions. She performs best when you understand the enemy draft and can anticipate fights.

Q.03 Why am I not impactful in fights? +

Usually because you use your ultimate without proper setup or in poor conditions. Miss Fortune is highly context-dependent. If enemies are not grouped or controlled, your ultimate loses a lot of value.

Q.04 How do you play against assassins? +

Position further back and keep your Stasis Enchant ready. Wait for key threats to be used before committing. Your goal is to survive the initial burst, then punish with your ultimate.
