Samira is a combo ADC in the Dragon Lane who builds Style stacks by mixing melee and ranged attacks to unlock her devastating multi-shot ultimate. Her Style system incentivizes varied ability usage, rewarding mechanical fluency with escalating damage windows. She can dash through allies and enemies and deflect projectiles with a melee swing. In Wild Rift, she is an all-in hyper-carry who shreds clustered teams once her Style reaches S-rank during a teamfight.
Samira excels in multi-CC compositions that let her accumulate style quickly and safely trigger her ultimate. She benefits from short-duration CC supports that create openings without exposing her. All-in compositions offer her ideal conditions.
Samira is exposed against compositions that can CC her before she builds style and maintain distance through poke. Instant burst profiles neutralize her before her ultimate. Her aggressive playstyle makes her vulnerable to enemy counter-engages.
With Samira, build style progressively before using your ultimate — trigger it only at S rank to maximize damage. Use your E to pass through enemy projectiles and cancel skill shots. In teamfights, stay mobile between targets to maintain your damage cadence.
Expert note
Expert take
Samira is excellent for players who know how to wait for chaos instead of creating it too early. She requires a different mindset from many ADCs: you do not win only by hitting the closest target, you win by identifying the moment when the enemy structure has just cracked. Her real level shows in small forms of restraint: not using E on the first low-HP target, not using W on the first weak spell, not casting R while the crowd control that stops it is still available. With the right support, she creates reset pressure few ADCs can match. Poorly drafted or played impatiently, she becomes flashy but very easy to punish.
Weak point
Hidden weakness
Samira’s hidden weakness is not only her short range: it is her dependence on a fight that has already been damaged. Many players see her ultimate as an engage button, when it is mostly a conversion tool. If she enters before crowd control, shields, or peel spells have been forced, she spends E, reveals her position, then ends up in the middle of a team that is still ready to answer. Her real fragility is timing: a good entry looks explosive, an early entry looks suicidal.
