Milio is an enchanter support in Wild Rift, a child of tamed flames with a unique range extension amplifying his ADC's attacks through his campfire. His kit provides shields, heals, attack range extension, and a mass purification ultimate removing all CC from allies in an area. He excels in protect-the-carry compositions seeking to amplify high-DPS ADCs with superior range. In Wild Rift, his cleanse ultimate is the most versatile anti-CC tool in the support game, capable of reversing the most massive engages in a single use.

Milio excels in hyper-carry compositions that need time to deal their damage. He amplifies ADCs through his unique range buff and continuous healing. Compositions that survive enemy engage and counter-attack get the maximum from his kit.

Milio is vulnerable against instant engage compositions that target him first before he can react with healing. His defensive nature makes him less effective against aggressive engage compositions that force short fights. Champions bypassing his shields through true damage reduce his utility.

Milio's Cozy Campfire increases Jinx's attack range — combined with Fishbones (rocket launcher), Jinx reaches exceptionally long attack range allowing her to dominate exchanges without ever being in return range. Milio's Wild Growth activated on Jinx during an all-in pushes back assassins attempting to dive her, and the move speed lets her better position Super Mega Death Rocket from a safe distance. Extremely strong scaling synergy: both champions peak in late game and Milio perfectly protects Jinx's power scaling during her vulnerable phases.

Milio is literally the best-suited support for Kog'Maw in the entire game: Cozy Campfire's range increase stacks directly with Bio-Arcane Barrage to create the longest attack range in the game on a single target. Kog'Maw has no dash or escape — Milio's Breath of Life cleanses CC that bypasses his range, and Ultra Mega Fire Kick (shield + speed) provides the only survival mechanics he has. The power spike hits at 2 items: Kog'Maw becomes practically untouchable in his comfort zone, any enemy approaching takes massive damage before reaching Kog.

Mechanical Tips

Ultra Mega Fire Kick (Q): knockback + AoE explosion on impact. Bounces off the first enemy hit. Use to push engaging enemies out of the carry’s range.
Cozy Campfire (W): a mobile area that follows the targeted ally — progressive heal + bonus auto-attack range for the ally within the area. Position the campfire on the ADC to maximise its value.
Warm Hugs (E): shield + movement speed. Can target allies or yourself.
Breath of Life (R): instant cleanse of all CC effects on nearby allies + heal. One of the few area-of-effect cleanses in Wild Rift. Use to remove heavy CC (Kennen’s R, Amumu’s R, etc.).
Fired Up! (passive): Allies hit by Milio’s abilities receive an empower on their next auto-attack — bonus damage + burn.

Common Mistakes

Wasting R too early, before key team fights have started.
Using W on an ally far from the action — the heal and the range bonus go to waste.
Not poking with Q regularly — Q is a very effective disengage tool.

W’s range bonus means the ADC can attack from further away without risk.
R’s Cleanse allows a immobilised ADC to keep fighting — a game-changer against teams with heavy CC.

Q.01 When should Milio use his ultimate? +

The ultimate should be used reactively to key crowd control, not preemptively. Waiting for the enemy to commit maximizes cleanse value. If used too early, the team remains vulnerable to re-engage. If used too late, the carry is already dead. Timing is everything.

Q.02 Is Milio a good blind pick? +

He can be blind picked in certain situations, but remains draft-dependent. Without a proper carry or against strong early pressure, he becomes fragile. He’s better as a response pick than a first pick.

Q.03 Why is Milio so strong with certain ADCs? +

His buffs directly increase range and attack speed, which heavily benefits sustained DPS ADCs. The longer a champion can stay in fights, the stronger Milio becomes with them.

Q.04 What is the biggest trap when playing Milio? +

The biggest trap is trying to actively participate in fights. Milio is not there to create plays but to secure them. Overexposing or forcing plays drastically reduces his actual impact.
