Ziggs is a Mid Lane siege mage, an explosives-obsessed yordle whose exceptional range and structure damage make him the most efficient tower destroyer in the game. His passive supercharges auto-attacks against towers, and his ultimate Mega Inferno Bomb drops from extreme range anywhere on the map. His bouncing bombs and mines create permanent zone control around objectives. In Wild Rift, Ziggs is the absolute siege pressure pick in poke-split compositions, capable of destroying nexus structures from ultra-safe positions.
Ziggs excels in siege compositions seeking to destroy enemy structures or harass from maximum distance. He benefits from allies who can protect his position and create defensive peel. Extended poke or push compositions get the maximum from him.
Ziggs is exposed against dive or fast gap-close champions that close distance before he places bombs. High-mobility compositions easily dodge his projectiles. His lack of personal mobility makes him vulnerable to sudden engages.
With Ziggs, exploit range and passive tower destruction to advance quickly on structures. Alternate between poking enemies and waveclearing minions to maintain constant pressure. In teamfights, stay in the backline and target dense groups with zone bombs.
Expert note
Expert take
Ziggs is an excellent choice for players who understand that carrying a game does not always mean killing the direct lane opponent. His strength comes from repetition: clear, poke, force a bad reset, break a turret, then repeat on the next zone. He rewards map reading and spacing more than pure reflexes. Pick Ziggs when your team can play around him and when the enemy must cross his space to fight. Avoid playing him like a standard burst mage: his impact is built before the fight, not only during it.
Weak point
Hidden weakness
Ziggs’ hidden weakness is not only his lack of mobility: it is his dependence on a zone that has already been prepared. He looks very safe when he controls the wave, but becomes fragile when a fight starts before he has placed E, held W, and chosen his angle. A surprised Ziggs often has to use his spells to survive instead of controlling space, which removes the pressure that justified the pick.
